He was 86.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/trustedmovinggroups.com\/?p=3787\">\u2018Spider-Man: Brand New Day\u2019 keeps record pace, \u2018The Odyssey\u2019 sets new high for Nolan<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nelson\u2019s death was announced by the Golden State Warriors, one of the teams he coached.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Nelson is one of two coaches in NBA history to have at least 250 wins with three different franchises \u2014 Milwaukee, Dallas and Golden State \u2014 also serving as general manager for all three franchises. He was a three-time coach of the year and made the playoffs 18 times in 31 seasons.
