An Army gynecologist charged with secretly video recording patients during exams pleaded not guilty Wednesday. <\/p>

Dr. Blaine McGraw is charged with indecent visual recording, as well as conduct unbecoming of an officer, willful disobedience of a superior officer and making a false statement. The Army Office of Special Trial Counsel previously alleged that there were 44 victims throughout 2025. McGraw\u2019s patients included hundreds of service members and their spouses.<\/p>

McGraw appeared before Col. Jorge Rivera, a military judge, at the Lawrence Williams Judicial Center at Fort Hood, Texas, on Wednesday, according to NBC affiliate KCEN of Temple. <\/p>

According to information presented in court Wednesday, McGraw now faces nine charges and 273 specifications involving 93 alleged victims, the station reported. The Army has said the alleged conduct occurred from 2021 to 2026.<\/p>

The specifications include 12 of sexual assault, 79 of attempted sexual assault, 66 of indecent recording and 91 of assault consummated by a battery, KCEN reported.<\/p>

He was charged in December after the Army Criminal Investigation Division opened an inquiry in October following a complaint from a patient at Fort Hood. Most of the accusations are related to medical exams of female patients at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, where he worked.<\/p>

NBC News was first to report details of the allegations against McGraw, including an interview with a former patient who sued him after having learned he had recorded \u201cnearly the entirety of her final appointment, including both the breast and pelvic examinations, without her knowledge or consent,\u201d her lawsuit says.<\/p>

Her lawsuit alleges that there are scores of additional victims and that Army leadership allowed McGraw to continue practicing for years after it received complaints about sexual misconduct \u2014 an allegation the Army denies. She is married to an active-duty service member and sued anonymously, using the name Jane Doe, to keep her identity private.<\/p>
