The coroner\u2019s office said Panettiere\u2019s cause of death is pending further investigation. An autopsy was completed on Monday.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>After her sudden passing, fans began to resurface a podcast interview with the star from earlier this year in which she claimed that Neutrogena, which she described as \u201ca huge part\u201d of her life, severed ties with her over a \u201cmorals clause\u201d when she spoke about her experiences with postpartum depression (PPD). <\/p>\n<p>Neutrogena\u2019s social media posts were flooded with negative comments toward the brand, with some calling for a boycott. Four years later, Panettiere gave full custody of Kaya to Klitschko amid what she described to parenting outlet Mom\u00e9 as a \u201creally challenging time in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Panettiere worked with Neutrogena from 2005 to 2015.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>In its post on Instagram on Thursday, the brand described Panettiere as \u201ca valued member of our Neutrogena community\u201d for more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to have partnered with her and understand that we made her feel unsupported during a very difficult time,\u201d the brand wrote. \u201cThis is not what Neutrogena stands for or who we want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The beauty company did not elaborate on the terms of Panettiere\u2019s contract. A spokesperson for the brand did not respond to NBC News\u2019 request for further comment.<\/p>\n<p>During her appearance on Jay Shetty\u2019s On Purpose Podcast in May, Panettiere told the host that she \u201chad no intention or plan to talk about postpartum depression\u201d but that \u201cit just came up and I was just being honest and never for a second did I think that anyone cared or that anyone would have a bad reaction to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said she thought \u201cthis is the last thing that I thought they would ever fire me over.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/trustedmovinggroups.com\/?p=4230\">She devoted her career to helping police families. When Kaya cried, I struggled to soothe her, feeling desperate, inadequate, and out of control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said she began self-medicating with wine. And in an art-reflecting-life moment, her private struggles drove the drama in Season 4 of \u201cNashville.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PPD affects 1 in 7 women, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
