NEW YORK \u2014 AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton thinks that leading AI company Anthropic is losing its focus on safe AI development as competitive and financial pressures force it to pursue other goals, he told NBC News in a wide-ranging interview in late May.<\/p>\n
