The couple married Friday evening, Swift’s team confirmed. They tied the knot in front of a thousand friends and family members in a ceremony officiated by funnyman Adam Sandler at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The world’s most famous pop star and the future Hall of Fame football player didn’t feature a traditional wedding party, as Swift was accompanied by her “man of honor,” brother Austin Swift, while Kelce had brother and fellow football great Jason Kelce serving as best man.

Friday’s nuptials marked America’s version of a royal wedding. Nearly a year earlier, they broke the internet with a collaborative Instagram post announcing their engagement after two years of dating.

Speculation about when and how the ultra-famous couple would get married immediately took over, with the most recent round of rumors in early June that they would have the affair at Madison Square Garden on the July 4 weekend.
NBC News previously reported that a Swift-Kelce event was being held at the Garden on July 3, after The New York Times first reported details of the apparent wedding.
