Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum were crowned this season’s winners, as determined by viewer votes. Fans had afour-hour window on Friday, July 10, to cast their votes for the winning pair from the final four couples.
The runners-up were Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, with Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea placing third and Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou in fourth.
Host Ariana Madix announced the winning pair at the end of July 12’s almost two-hour finale.
“I feel like I’m in a dream right now,” Bryce said after being crowned the winners. “I’m walking up here. I’m like, ‘Is this f—— real? Like, what the hell is going on?’”
When asked what they wanted to say to each other, they expressed their love and appreciation.
“I’m just so overwhelmed. I never would have expected in a million years to be in this position right now,” Trinity said, with Brynce adding, “I’m just so grateful to be with you. Like, I do love you so much, and every day feels so special… and I can’t wait for life outside of this.”
Trinity also got emotional and cried as she couldn’t believe the experience she just had. “I’m just really glad I got to meet Bryce,” she said through tears.

During the finale, the final four couples each went on a romantic date together before giving their final speeches, a “Love Island USA” hallmark that involves formally stating one’s intentions and plans for life outside the villa.
Bryce and Trinity enjoyed an intimate and romantic dinner during their date.
“I wasn’t expecting to be leaving with a boyfriend,” Trinity said, adding that she “genuinely” feels like she can be herself around Bryce.
Bryce added that family day “sealed things” for them, he then told Trinity, “I love you.”
She said it back and joked that she was waiting for him to say it back. They sealed their love with a kiss and a cheers.
Bryce and Trinity first coupled up in Season 8’s very first episode, the June 2 premiere. After initial reservations about their age gap — Trinity is 22, while Bryce turned 30 inside the villa — they quickly locked in on their coupling. In Episode 24, Bryce formally asked Trinity to be his girlfriend, and she happily accepted.
