A shocking video captured the moment a loose tire flew across Interstate 76 in Philadelphia and crashed into an SUV.

The incident happened on the westbound lane of Schuylkill Expressway near the Girard Avenue exit.

NBC10 obtained video from another vehicle’s camera that showed the tire bouncing over the highway median before striking an SUV with tremendous force.

State police said they are currently investigating where the tire came from. No official information about injuries has been released.
